Hello, Everybody! :)

Hi, everybody! My name is Kat and I have a tortoise shell tabby kitten called Balina.
I LOVE horses and everything about them. I ride a horse named Wilma (A bay horse) at Sugarloaf Horse Center (One of the best stables in the world :D) but I also ride a horse called Snoopy (Chestnut horse)
This blog is all about...HORSES, RIDING, HORSES and STORIES OF HORSES and GREAT TIPS ON RIDING. But, you see the MADE UP STORIES with CHAPTERS (Horse Tales etc) are FAKE...I made them up!
Also, if YOU are a HORSE SLAUGHTERER, please, QUIT YOUR RIDICULOUS job!!! I HATE horse Slaughter more than anything!!!

Horsey Break! :)

Hello, everybody-before we start anymore made-up horsey stories, I’m going to tell you some advice on riding. But it’s just simple tips at first!

  • Mounting and Dismounting:

Mounting is what horsey people call ‘getting on a horse’ and dismounting is what horsey people call ‘getting off a horse’. You can see the difference of the words and if you can’t, read the phrase at least fifty times before you get it.  Horse riding ONLY 007Remember, if this is your first time riding a horse, be sure you have another pro person to instruct you or guide you. Mounting:

There is something called a ‘stirrup’ at the side of the horse and at the bottom of the saddle*.  stirrup Now, put your foot in the stirrup, put one hand on the saddle and one hand on the mane like shown above. Now, 1…2…3… Push up! Once you are comfortable in the saddle*, you shall have to put your other foot in the other stirrup-no embarrassments! Just bend down to the stirrup and place your feet.

*Saddle- A saddle is a type of tack that they put on the horses back-so you won’t get saddlesore! saddle   All saddles have different types-like this saddle is an Arabian horses saddle- and for the reins, there are also different types of reins-easy going and beginner horses and ponies have the leather-ropey kind of rein that have the yellow marks on it. Some advanced horses have only leather strap reins-no yellow mark.

Whew! Was that any hard at all????? Let’s just see how you move on a real horse! :)

Anyway, let’s just see the The Most Horsey Top Bookrooms For 2011:
