Hello, Everybody! :)

Hi, everybody! My name is Kat and I have a tortoise shell tabby kitten called Balina.
I LOVE horses and everything about them. I ride a horse named Wilma (A bay horse) at Sugarloaf Horse Center (One of the best stables in the world :D) but I also ride a horse called Snoopy (Chestnut horse)
This blog is all about...HORSES, RIDING, HORSES and STORIES OF HORSES and GREAT TIPS ON RIDING. But, you see the MADE UP STORIES with CHAPTERS (Horse Tales etc) are FAKE...I made them up!
Also, if YOU are a HORSE SLAUGHTERER, please, QUIT YOUR RIDICULOUS job!!! I HATE horse Slaughter more than anything!!!

Blaze

Today, we did go to Sugarloaf Horse Center. I didn’t ride Snoopy, or Wilma :( It was Blaze. Here is a pic…DSCF2395 He did seem beautiful, but really, I could take chances. DSCF2402  He was a dapple grey stallion or gelding- I don’t know. As I mounted up on him, however he was sweet and stood very still. But after a while, I guess he got a bit bored so he started to churn up grass. It seemed like forever for him, to eat up the grass. DSCF2420 Once we took off, however, he was gentle and quiet but he was, like, REALLY slow. I kept lagging behind. Once we were allowed to trot, I kicked him but he wouldn’t budge. Well, I gave him another kick and he budged (FINALLY!) But not in a trot-he was still in a slow walk. DSCF2421

After that one hour trail ride (It felt like 3 years to me) I went home.

Anyway, back to our normal day!

STOP HORSE SLAUGHTER, END THE PAIN!!!!!

Hello, everybody! It’s been a while since I have post, hasn’t it?

Good news:

I am going to Sugarloaf Horse Center THIS Sunday!!!! Hurray!Sugarloaf Horse Center pic

Bad News:

School holidays are nearly up-that means I’ll only be allowed to go to the stables once a month :(…until next holidays start, of course :). Do you know what horse slaughter is?????? It’s murdering horses, of course!!! It’s very sad. There are some countries all around the world who sell and eat our beautiful creatures! If you think the horse’s meat is yum, you must be sick! Slaughtering happens to all animals-cats, dogs, wild animals, and even OUR DOMESTIC PETS also get slaughtered!!!!!

I don’t think there are Slaughter Houses in Australia, but I’m SURE there is in Europe-at the butcher shop! 8ci68jiwlz  If you cannot see the words clearly on this picture, I’ll type it out here so you can see…

I want to be free…

but when slaughter stars…

I begin to worry…

what will the cruel people do to my foal?

stop horse slaughter now

end the pain!!!!

wishes, a going-to-be-killed mare

See what I mean? 4m7c2gh2tk Horses are beautiful creatures…they are loving, just like the normal, caring human nature. But what a horse mainly dislikes is being eaten and slaughtered! I don’t see why they slaughter horses, especially since the people already slaughter the poor pigs (for pork), the poor cows (for beef) and the poor chickens, turkey…etc (Oh, and COW’S TOUNGE! Yuck! Why do people have to be SO revolting?) erpyjn76yd I rest my case, but this is ridiculous. Who eats horse meat, anyway? They all have a desire for chicken! And there are horse auctions or markets, and guess what they put up? Something called: BUY OR THE HORSES DIE!!!!! That is just SO completely SAD!! And the silly people price the horse, something higher than a normal horse sale, like, $900, 000 and people just buy the horse because of that silly phrase, “BUY OR THE HORSES DIE!!!!” I think people are thinking minds so silly these days! zeq5f9pw9i  You run free, you STAY free. People aren’t getting the humane reason here! Horses are wonderful creatures…They are lovable…they are the best creatures in the WORLD! Well, maybe, for some people’s opinion. b8ghur70i3

Well, I take this phrase aback-If things happen terribly…who’s to blame? No one so just live the dream… I totally take it aback now! Some people just think animals are JUST ANIMALS, Which isn’t the whole truth. Animals AREN’T JUST ANIMALS, they are special…in fact, if I had been more wrong, I’d rather be an animal than a human! (Ha-ha…well, maybe) Animals try their best too, you know! We AREN’T the MOST HARD-WORKING creatures that, oh, thank God ever made! Animals try their best, as well! Horses- for instance, is hard-working! They train hard to race in the Melbourne Cups! They train hard to win competitions, the Olympics, the Nationals! 4y2fk3n01z  In fact, they train so hard that it makes us humans NOTHING, when THEY train hard. When we do training/hard-work etc, we don’t feel LOT’S of pain, do we?? Well, we do…like when you are doing Aerobics or Yoga etc etc, but horses, let’s just say a jockey whips a horse ten times as hard to keep the horse going…some horses just lose it, and they rear and buck and all that but some horses just get MOVING!! It’s not fair! a6v7812riu     Why does the POOR HORSES get SLAUGHTERED and WE DON’T??? I- don’t-think-it-is-fair-Horses do have feelings, exactly like us! Don’t be a killer and help the selfish, useless, dumb-brained horse slaughterersmp6mdcdnbo !!!!! :( If you ENJOY horse slaughtering, you are SO completely, SAD and SICK!!!! Look at them pictures, and THINK about it! STOP WORSHIPPING the careless slaughterers!butprxu9cz SAVE THE LIVES OF BILLIONS OF HORSES!!!! But the problem is…HOW??? For one thing, I can complain serenely to the presidents of Europe about the stupid slaughtering. But, either way, it STILL won’t be a option. Let’s just say, your best friend, A HORSE YOU LOVE TO RIDE! Suddenly some stupid Slaughter House takes it away and YOU don’t do ANYTHING ABOUT IT- Your best friend- G-O-N-E! So, please, I wish to complain. But I WILL when I’m an adult. For now, I will pray everyday about it- when I see Slaughter Houses I shall complain to them…show them some pics I will print out…and if THAT won’t work, oh well! They’ll have to learn the HARD way. Which is to be doomed with the HORSE SPIRITS!!! (Spooky!!!!!) Anyway, if YOU support or work for the SLAUGHTER HOUSES, please quit your ridiculous, dumb-brained job! The money-almost NOTHING! The horses-a hundred tones!!!! The money YOU earn from slaughtering horses is just like garbage! Horses are worth millions of dollars when you buy them-and do YOU know why??? Cos’ they are YOUR BEST FRIEND! And they are getting SLAUGHTERED! ilc4a6sc03  And, for a start, I wish all the Slaughter Houses will be SHUT DOWN FOREVER AND EVER!!!! It’s REALLY not fair! Even if you hate horses (I serenely say if you hate horses, you are really not into life’s choices!) you should be SURPPORTIVE! STOP HORSE SLAUGHTER, END THE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rest my case (ditto), but honestly, this is getting super-ridiculous. NO ONE can do anything about it. But for a change, it’s very, very pathetic. God didn’t make horses for us to KILL and EAT and DIGEST! He made them for us to enjoy horses!!!!!!!!!!!!! To ride them! To LOVE them! But honestly, I’m not very spiritually aware, but maybe God DID made them for us to eat…shiver…if he did I’ll start worshipping Buddha. Or Hinduism. And THANK GOD that the United Stats is close to BANNING HORSE SLAUGHTER! Hurray! It’s because they have SLAUGHTERED OVER 30,000 HORSES!!! And, I know the US and Australia people, they DON’T eat horses, they slaughter them and send them to Europe…STOP IT!!! Please, if you are working at the Slaughter House, whatever country you are in and you are KILLING them, and sending them to Asia and Europe. So, please, QUIT YOUR RIDICILOUS JOB!!!

8ci68jiwlz   Horses ain’t deserve all THIS pain!!! So, please…

STOP HORSE SLAUGHTER,

END THE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

How to Make Miniature Hobby Horse (One that YOU couldn’t ride-but a doll or something can :)

Hello, people! Nice night, isn’t it? s96zb4z60k If you can’t see the words clearly, don’t worry! I’ll show it on the side bars! :D. Anyway, do YOU want to know how to make a miniature hobby horse? But I must warn you, this hobby horse is going to be awfully small. I’ll show you a Miniature Hobby Horse I made a couple of days ago…brb…..

xrdvjmvot5

OK. So let’s start off with the first step:

YOU WILL NEED:

  • A small horse doll. (Similar to shown above-ANY color, patterns etc)
  • A piece of glasses cloth (DON’T use a glasses cloth if you need it often!!) or a piece of cloth (ANY color!)
  • Scissors
  • Sticky Tape
  • Colored crayons or pencils
  • Paper

OK, have you got all that? OK, so, here are the methods or steps:

Step 1:

Get the piece of cloth and place it on the horse’s back like a saddle pad. XD

110110-213745 The blue cloth is the saddle pad. Place it on the horse’s back. Then, use sticky tape to stick the ends to stay still.

Step 2:

The tack- Get the piece of paper and colored crayons or pencils etc. If you want your tack to be just plain white, you don’t need the colored crayons or pencils. Or if you have brown/gray/whatever color you want colored paper, you also don’t need the colored pencils or crayons. OK, so, we will start off with the bridle and bit-get the scissors.110110-214147 The bridle and bit is like shown on this photo. OK, before we start, IF you are using plain paper, and want it colored, color it before you start cutting.

Cut the paper into a really thin strip but not too thin. Then, measure it around the horses nose part and get sticky tape and secure it-make sure it’s not loose! You are not riding the horse, the doll is and we are pretty sure when the doll falls off, it won’t get injured.

Step 3:

The saddle is also important. Sketch a saddle-type shape on a piece of paper and color it whatever color you want it to be (brown, is the best, I guess) Then, cut it out with the scissors. After that, stick it with sticky tape on the saddle pad.

Step 4:

Stirrups

Fold another piece of paper in half. Then, on one side (one WHOLE side-back and front of a SINGLE half) sketch a piece of stirrups then color it in-if you don’t know what stirrups look like-here it is!images (12)  But also draw the WHOLE line of stirrups. Once you are done, get the scissors ready and cut the outline of the stirrup of the paper half so you will end up with two stirrups! Next, attach the stirrups from the saddle-each stirrup dangling from each side!

Step Five

The girth is one of the most important aspects on a horse~ If you don’t get the girth tightened enough, you might lose your balance and fall off! The girth is a kind of tack tied around the horses belly. Some horses puff out when the girth is tightened! So, all you do for this small hobby horse is, get a piece of paper and scissors. Cut a small strip and color it-or do it the other way around. Then, stick it around the horses belly.

Step Six

Your DONE!!!!!!!!!! Hurray! You are done making your Miniature Hobby Horse! To make it more fabulous and fancy, put a doll or Littlest Pet Shop or something like that, on the horse like the doll’s riding it! Have fun with your hobby horse! ;D XD   erpyjn76yd  a6v7812riu

Happy reading AND riding!!! xo, Kat

How to Ride a Horse

Cantering, trotting, walking and galloping…I got it ALL here for first-time riders.

Walking

Walking is one of the slowest of all horse movements. (Except for standing, thank God :) ) htavc3iyem To make a horse or pony or donkey or unicorn or zebra or whatever horse species you are riding, just squeeze deeply (But not too deeply) in the saddle, and it’ll make the horse walk-make sure your reins are even Steven!!!!!

Trotting

Trotting is faster than a walk, but slower than a canter. Just kick your legs slightly in the stirrups-but not too hard or you will confuse the horse into cantering or trotting4y2fk3n01z

Cantering

Some people might not know what cantering means-it is a three-beat pace from a horse. It is faster than a trot or walk, but slower than a gallop. Just kick deeply into the stirrups, like doing a trot but do it more with attitude so the horse knows you mean business.

Galloping

Let me just say that if you are a first time rider, they won’t exactly let you gallop because galloping is what horses from the Melbourne Cup do. Again, just kick the horse in the stirrups, yank the reins and your on your way. Ik. a6v7812riu

Well, I hope that answers your questions.

REMEMBER if you have ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT RIDING OR HORSES.   please type your question in the comment box (Just click comments and there is a box to type your question/comment.) Thank you.

13lueltmci Seems like there are going to be 2 Posts today. This is the HOW-YOU-DO-IT thing and the next one, I guess is going to be a chapter post or something like that. zncm4hnfn4 Bye for now! :) Kat
